This book helps ensure they're told. : I received an advance copy of this book for review, but I liked it so much I ordered more. The bottom line is we're only here for a short time but stories endure forever. This book helps make sure that our kids know our stories and (hopefully) tell them long after we're gone. When we're no longer around to jog their memories, they'll have this to look back on and reference. It's a great tool from a wonderful author I've been reading for many years, and I expected nothing less than Jeff providing a heartfelt and easy way to pass on our legacies to the next generation(s). I wish I had thought of it first and know other writers who wish they had, too. But I'm glad Jeff got there first. Because it's one thing to have an idea, but it's a whole other order of magnitude to execute it well, which Jeff does. I'll add here that Jeff is my friend and I was provided with an advance review copy of his book. I'll also add that I would have bought the book anyway and all opinions are my own. This book is amazing. My father has always told a number of stories about his childhood but with only a few details. This book is the perfect way for me to learn more about his experiences when he was younger and also about how he experienced fatherhood when my brothers and I were born. Jeff has found the most wonderful way of connecting with fathers and helping fathers create a gift for their children. I’ve known Jeff a long time, been following his blog for 8 or 9 years, met him at a couple of conferences, heard him speak a few times, and have listened to a number of his podcasts. Jeff is a smart quirky funny guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to show it.
